ABOUT JENNY…
I graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2013 with a BSC Hons degree in Osteopathy, before this however I started my career following my passion for sports obtaining a BSc Hons degree in Sport Rehabilitation Therapy in 2001 from St. Mary’s University, Strawberry Hill.
I started my career working with semi-professional football clubs and throughout my career I also worked with boxing clubs and running clubs.
I spent 12 years working in London, a few years within the NHS where I specialised in lower limb orthopaedics before moving into working in private health clinics, this is where my intrigue for osteopathy began, hence side stepping into becoming an osteopath!
Upon graduating as an osteo I was offered a job in a well established Osteopathic clinic in Singapore and thus my passion for travel began...
I lived in Asia for over 7 years working as an osteopath in multidisciplinary clinics in the central business districts of Singapore and Hong Kong.
I also worked in Sri Lanka at an Ayurvedic and Yoga Wellness retreat centre providing Osteopathy treatments and teaching Pilates.
I moved to Ireland in 2021 allowing me to catch up with family and friends whilst working in an Osteopathy clinic for 2 years.
Towards the end of 2022 I returned to the UK and I have been working at Osteopathic clinics in Hassocks (where I met Jade) and Worthing.
I am also a Pilates mat work instructor, I utilise Pilates exercises and principles as a tool within my rehabilitation programmes.
Additionally in 2021 I became a Holistic Health & Wellness Coach.
I believe in promoting body awareness, providing rehabilitation tools to recover from current injuries and dysfunction and to use as long-term preventative measures.
I utilise a holistic approach to diagnosis and treatment that caters to the needs of the individual patient and use a variety of osteopathic techniques, trigger point release, manipulation of joints, craniosacral as well as functional movement rehabilitation.
When I’m not working I love to travel, exploring different cultures and cuisines and when I'm not travelling, I spend my time exercising at spin class, strength training, boxing, hiking or on the yoga mat.
I love to travel, having visited lots of South East Asia and Europe
My coffee choice is either an oat flat white or ling black
I love being active, currently enjoying strength training, spin, yoga and boxing
I played basketball and Gaelic football until I was 28
I have lived and worked in 5 countries including, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Ireland
I love spicy food and I cook a mean Sri Lankan dhal and Indian chicken curry
